Instructors:

Don L - Lead Instructor / Defensive shooting

Don is an active Federal Law Enforcement Officer with Department of Justice and served as a Security Police (MP) with the U.S. Air Force.  Don is a certified Federal Firearms (LEAD) Instructor and qualified to teach Small Arms, such as sub-machine guns, shotguns, pistols, carbines, less-than-lethal and chemical munitions.  He is an NRA certified instructor and a certified Utah State conceal firearm instructor. He is also certified by the NYS DCJS  to be an armed guard instructor. 

Charles  K- Director of Training

Charles has been an NRA certified instructor for over 10 years and currently he is an NRA certified Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer and Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor in Pistol and Shotgun. Charles’ experience also includes firearms instructor and range safety officer for the local township on Long Island, Utah State Firearms Instructor and a graduate of the Glock Instructor Workshop.  He is a factory certified Glock and Bushmaster armorer.   He is a graduate of Suffolk County Sheriff's Peace Officer Academy,  NYS DCJS certified law enforcement instructor in various topics, including Aerosol Restraint Subject, Domestic Violence and General Topics and completed NYS DCJS Law Enforcement Sniper School.  He is member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), Massachusetts Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors' & Armorers' Association and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).

Don F. - Assistant Instructor

Don is a certified instructor and has been involved in shooting sports for over 10 years.  He comes with wealth of knowledge in rifle, shotgun, bullistics, practical shooting applications and hunting sports. 

Guest instructors

We have several other guest instructors with experience in the Military, Law Enforcement, Private Security, Legal Affairs and Competitive shooting arenas.  These instructors are specialized in very specific topics. 

Who we are, what we do and what we are not

"Train hard, train right!" 

Training is an investment.  You are investing your hard earn money, energy, time and the effort into the training program.  We understand that and we give our 100% to our participants. So why not train right all the time? Our student to instructor ratio is 5 to 1 so that we can focus on each participating individuals and meet their needs.   Our instructors are highly trained individuals and our lead instructors are active in the law enforcement arena as department trainers.

Our instructors ARE NOT:

• Internet commandos with knowledge gained from reading some articles floating around cyber-space. 
• Someone who has read several books and self proclaimed experts.
• Someone with ton of certifications but  with very little or no practical experience.
• We don't believe in "Do as I say, but don't do as I do." 
  
• One of those instructors spending most of YOUR training time reading you the books and provide you with very little practical experience.
• We are not here to intimidate you.   

When it comes to firearm safety, we will be very strict and firm.  Safety comes first and we will not tolerate any behavior that will put others in harms way.
